Marlborough Pony Club has a long history of excellence.
Marlborough Pony Club is a member of the United States Pony Club (USPC), a non-profit, educational organization for youths between the ages of 6 and 25 years of age. USPC's mission is to provide a program that teaches riding, mounted sports and the care of horses and ponies, thereby developing responsibility, sportsmanship, moral judgement, leadership and self confidence.
Our club has met the goals of USPC and filled a need for many youths in the community. Marlborough Pony Club has a long history, it first began in 1966. We have reactivated Marlborough Pony Club to continue its long tradition of excellence. Many of our events and training are held in the Upper Marlboro area. Others require more traveling. All of this requires dedicated volunteers including; parents, members, and sponsors.
Marlborough Pony Club is in the Capital Region. Our Regional Supervisor is Laura Ganske, a very experienced organizer and all around great person.
We currently have more than 30 members and are growing fast.
